I was asked by Goodtype to create the prompt for a bubble letter themed #GoodtypeTuesday, and this is the result!

Lettering and illustration in the style of a vintage seed packet done for a friend. Inspiration drawn from spencerian script booklets, botanical prints, and sign painting.

A personal project where I created an alphabet playing with the positive and negative space that happens when you cut and fold paper. (And of course I had to mess with color and patterns as well!) All letters were designed by me in Illustrator and then most were cut out with a Silhouette digital diecut machine, though some were cut by hand with an exacto knife. All backgrounds were painted by me. Enjoy!
