Save-the-Dates
It’s always an honor to help someone with something as meaningful as wedding stationery, and even more so when it’s your two best friends! Part colorful flower explosion, part handpainted signage joy, the inspiration Nick and Eleanor wanted me to draw from for this save-the-date (and subsequent pieces) made this project a blast to letter and illustrate.
Announcements
Unfortunately, (we all know how 2020 went!) the initial blowout wedding was postponed in favor of a more intimate gathering of just the bride and groom. This meant we needed wedding announcements instead of full-blown invitations. So, we reworked the original art for this new announcement on top of one of their favorite engagement pictures.
Thank Yous
And finally, a cute little set of lettered “Thank you”s for a custom notecard. These they wanted to feel similar in character to the lettering on the other pieces, but feel like an exact extension. I love some of the quirks in these letterforms!
